MAP Representatives

We love our School Representatives! These parents directly contribute to promoting arts and music programs at their kids’ schools and help us to identify equipment and program needs. MAP representatives act as our ‘feet on the ground’ at each school by advocating for the arts at school events and frequently communicate with their arts and music teachers and with the MAP Board.

They submit news briefs to school newsletters, coordinate and arrange for concession sales at school arts and music events, represent MAP at ‘Back to School Night’, help with the annual ‘Dollars for the Arts’ fundraiser, facilitate grant requests, help coordinate Original Works projects and attend MAP Caucus meetings.
